Red Moon Solutions and PARIS Technologies Launch Powerful Tax Intelligence Solutions for Corporate Tax Departments

Red Moon Solutions, LLC and PARIS Technologies International, Inc. Announce Partnership to Introduce PowerOLAP™ to Corporate Accounting & Tax Departments.

Red Moon Solutions as a member of PARIS Technologies International’s Certified Partner Program will deliver PARIS’s PowerOLAP™, a cost effective business intelligence solution, to corporate accounting and tax departments. PowerOLAP™ is an enterprise-wide planning, analysis and reporting information system that connects directly to relational databases and other OLAP sources, and delivers data dynamically into Excel, the tool of choice for accounting and tax departments.

Red Moon Solutions is responding to a growing need among small to large global accounting and tax departments struggling to perform provisioning and compliance activities under limited resources, shrinking turnaround times and a greater expectation of transparency than ever before.

Recovery Rebates and Economic Stimulus for the American People Act of 2008

Red Moon Solutions has incorporate the temporary tax law changes, regarding asset depreciation, into its Fixed Assets Manager (FAM) product. These changes will be available in the next release of FAM, scheduled mid-March.

Businesses will be affected by two major temporary provisions relating to asset depreciation. First, the Sec 179, annual expensing and investment limitations, will be dramatically increased from their current amounts. Second, all businesses will be entitled to an additional ‘Bonus’ depreciation amount for most assets acquired after January 1, 2008.
