Kelley Lear, Managing Director

Kelley is a member of the executive leadership team and leads our sales and marketing efforts at Red Moon Solutions. Kelley’s extensive experience, with Andersen and Vertex, in project management, product management, and consulting with Fortune 500 and Global 1000 clients is extremely important in this role.

Kelley was with Vertex from 2002 to 2006 as their Director of Consulting and Tax Intelligence Solutions. She was a member of the leadership team that provided total solutions for Vertex customers, across all major tax types: income, sales & use, payroll, telecommunications, and VAT. These solutions encompassed process re-engineering and design, products, integration tools, data collection and tax data warehousing.

Kelley started with the Andersen Tax Technology Enterprises group in1997, where she worked as a Project Manager for the enterprise wide applications handling international human resource and expatriate tax management. She then headed up the implementation and consulting services for the International Expatriate Services related to these product lines. Kelley has authored white papers and articles published by tax and accounting journals. She is an active member of the Tax Executive Institute and the Association for Computers in Taxation and is a frequent speaker at National and Local Chapter meetings.

Kelley is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Whittimore School of Business & Economics, with an MBA in Strategic Marketing/International Finance and a BA in Political Science/Economics.
