Jim Shedivy, President

Jim focuses on the long term strategy and the alliance opportunities for Red Moon Solutions, a privately held family business. He has over twenty years of experience in managing tax technology projects and businesses.

Jim's career with Andersen spanned over thirty three years and was primarily focused on taxation and tax technology. He started in the Milwaukee office tax practice where he became a Tax Partner in 1982 specializing in international taxation with engagement responsibility for multi-national clients such as SC Johnson Wax, Snap On Tools, Kohler, J I Case and Allen Bradley. He was the Managing Partner-Taxation in Milwaukee for eight years, CIO for Andersen on a global basis for five years and served on the Andersen Worldwide Board of Partners from 1992 to 1996. Jim accepted a three year assignment with Vertex in 2002 where he consulted with the CEO and Board concerning strategy and tactics regarding the income tax technology aspects of their business.

Jim is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where he earned a BBA-Accounting (Magna Cum Laude). He is a CPA in both Florida and Wisconsin, a member of the AICPA, FICPA, WICPA, and he also became a Canadian Chartered Accountant during an extended assignment in Toronto, Canada.
